Surviving as a Freelancer: Rory Peck Trust Trauma Reporting Workshop | Trauma Reporting

I am delighted to be offering this Trauma Reporting workshop. I normally deliver the training via people’s employers but am keen to reach the many freelancers who get in touch. Thank you to the Rory Peck Trust for making this possible. More information here!

Workshop Overview

Do you feel confident reporting on victims, survivors, people who are distressed, grieving or going through a tough emotional time?

This two-hour workshop will cover the basics of trauma reporting, including:

  • How to handle the potential emotional impact on your wellbeing

This workshop is for journalists of all levels of experience working in news, features and factual programming who deal with emotionally vulnerable interviewees and cover challenging topics.
